  • Participants should be a minimum of 18 years old
  • The player must have started working with their employer at least (3) months before the start date of the tournament. For the purpose of verifying the player's employment start date with their government entity, the organising committee of the tournament may request the following documents from the entity:
    • A copy of the employee's (player's) employment contract
    • A copy of a document showing the employee's (player's) start date of employment
    • A copy of the work visa for the employee (player) if they are a non-citizen
    • A copy of the employee's (player's) ID card, with the original to be presented to the tournament organisers on the day of the competition
  • If it is found that the player is not employed by the government entity or has not met the duration specified, they will be automatically excluded from participating in the tournament. The government entity may request the committee to reconsider the player's exclusion decision within five days from the date the exclusion decision is issued. The committee must issue its final decision on the reconsideration request within two days from the date of receiving the request, and at least two days before the tournament competitions begin
  • All participants must be physically and mentally fit to take on such a strenuous and demanding obstacle course
  • All participants must be confident in the water and be able to swim
  • All participants should sign the ‘Waiver of Liability’ form prepared by the organising committee
  • Teams must complete the registration process required to be eligible to participate
  • Team players can register and compete with one team only

Team Manager

  • Registering the team on the Dubai Games website
  • Ensuring all team members register their personal details correctly and within the specified timeline
  • Managing all communications with event organisers, including but not limited to registration and event-related questions on behalf of his/her team
  • Ensuring that his/her team collects the correct sports attire from the specified stores within the given timeline and wears it during the competition
  • Ensuring that his/her team arrives at the site and checks in on time for the competition
  • Representing the team and advising relevant officials on substitutions, appeals, and any other required communication
  • Overseeing the conduct of his/her team throughout the competition
  • The team manager must be a ‘non-competing’ team member

  • Participants shall be a minimum of 18 years old
  • Must be a legal resident of the United Arab Emirates holding a valid Emirates ID
  • Must have qualified at Dubai Games pre-qualification event
  • A total of 27 community teams will qualify to Dubai Games main event
  • Must be in good health and capable of participating in strenuous athletic activities
  • Must be able to cope with extreme conditions
  • Free of any existing or recurring injuries
  • The teams can be mixed, male or female only
  • Team name can represent a company or an organization, provided they are current employees and present NOC from the company
  • Each team must have 5 main team members, and 2 substitute. At the pre-qualification event 5 team members will compete, if the team is qualified to participate in Dubai Games main event, they must add 2 substitutes and register as 7 members
  • The qualified teams may substitute up to two players, provided they present a valid reason, which must be approved by the organisers of Dubai Games
  • All participants should sign the waiver and must have gone through the necessary registration process to be eligible to participate

Team Captain

  • Responsible for your teams conduct and morale throughout the event
  • Responsible to make strategic decisions regarding which team members will participate for which obstacles
  • Responsible to ensure your team is on time for each obstacle briefing according to the rules
  • The team captain must be one of the 'competing' team members

  • Each city will assemble a team of 6 members. 3 of the 6 members should be citizens of this city the remaining 3 can be either residents or citizens
  • Each team should present an official document confirming their representation of the city issued by a government entity to participate in the Dubai Games
  • The passport or identification card should be valid and issued by the represented country

Team Captain

  • Responsible for the teams conduct and morale throughout the event
  • Responsible for making strategic decisions regarding which team members will participate for which obstacles
  • Responsible for ensuring the team is on time for each obstacle briefing according to the rules
  • The team captain must be one of the competing team members

  • Participants must be between the ages of 10 - 13 (born
    between February 15, 2013 and February 15, 2016)
  • Teams must consist of 5 main team members and 2 substitutes, excluding the coach
  • Participants must be in good health and free of any existing, recurring injuries (e.g. asthma, or heart complications). Should be capable of participating in strenuous athletic activities for extended period of time
  • Participants are required to register with a team led by a coach who is 21 years of age or older
  • Teams can be of mixed age and gender
  • All participants, including the coach, must have a valid Emirates ID
  • Participants can only compete for one team
  • Participants need consent from a legal parent or guardian to participate. The legal parent or guardian needs to sign the consent form
  • Each coach can oversee only one team

  • Registering the team on the Dubai Games website
  • Ensuring all team members register their personal details correctly and within the specified timeline
